Historical Sites of Pakistan
Mohenjo Daro and Harappa
One of the spectacular discoveries of the modern times by the archaeologists are the two cities of Mohenjo Daro and Harappa inside of Pakistan. Discovered along the banks of the Indus river and four hundred miles apart from each other these cities are considered to be 4000 year old and provide a rich glimpse of the Indus valley civilisation.

Taxila
Taxila is a precious world heritage site and is located in the Punjab province of Pakistan and is located just 35 km away from the capital city of Islamabad. Taxila is considered to be one of the best archaeological destinations in Pakistan and also famous for its rich Buddhist heritage. Gandhara sculptures are the prime attractions in Taxila.

Minar-e-Pakistan
Also known as the Iqbal Park this 60 meter high towering structure is a beautiful symbolic remembrance of the struggle of Pakistan. It was built in the exact place where the historic resolution of 1940 was passed by the Muslim League demanding a separate homeland. Minar-e-Pakistan is one of the most visited architectural delights of Pakistan.
