Day 1
Arrival in Peshawar and transfer to hotel.
Day 2
Visit Khyber Pass in morning. The historic pass is 18 km west of Peshawar.
Khyber Pass of today is the site of renowned forts like Shangai and Jamrud.
For Khyber Pass excursion one has to seek permission from the authorities.
Sightseeing in Peshawar city includes Peshawar Museum, Mahabat Khan Mosque,
Yadgar Square, Peshawar Pottery Works, Qissa Khawani Bazaar and Bater
Bazaar. Peshawar Museum holds relics from various eras of history. Pass your
night in hotel.
Day 3
You would be taken to Malakhand Pass which is known for ancient Buddhist
monastery. Driving along the picturesque Malakand Pass you will first visit
the magnificent ancient Buddhist monastery Takht-i-Bahi datingThe monastery
harks back to 1st to 7th Century AD. Several chapels and stupas sticking to
the high, rocky spurs combine to make the monastery. Next on your itinerary
is enchanting Swat Valley. Pass night at the hotel.
Day 4
You will visit Shangla Pass. You can have panoramic view of the Swat Valley
from here. Your next stops would be Gilgit valley and Shangla Pass. Nights
in hotel
Day 5
You would drive through world famous Karakoram Highway to Hunza Valley. On
your way you will see beautiful scenery with high lofty mountains. En route
you would stop at various scenic spots and local hamlets. Your destination
Hunza valley is known for its magnificence and serenity. Nights in hotel.
Day 6
You will pass whole day in Hunza valley known for its scenic beauty.
Greenery and snow-covered make it a very nice choice for holidays. Apricots,
pears, grapes and peaches are found here in abundance. People of Hunza are
known for their longevity of life, thanks to their natural diet and simple
way of living. They are also known for their culture. Historic sites like
Baltit Fort and Ganesh Watch Tower also attract tourists. Fort museum holds
good collection of artefacts and musical instruments. Nights in hotel.
Day 7
Ancient silk route town of Gilgit, administrative center of Northern
Pakistan, is your destination. In the city you would get an opportunity to
try your hands in the popular Polo grounds and test your bargaining skills
in the mountain bazaar. See impressive rock carvings of the Buddha near
Kargah. Watch cultural life from close quarters. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8
Move on to another spectacular and distinguished valley of Baltistan. This
is Skardu valley. Scardu is known for landscape of towering mountains, deep
gorges, mighty waterfalls and calm, deep lakes. You would also visit
markets, followed by Lake Satpara.
Day 9
Tour of the mountain town of Skardu, which is a central meeting point for
mountaineers attempting on the many towering peaks like the world's 2nd
highest mountain K-2, Gashbrum, Masherbrum, Broad Peak etc. Later in the
afternoon an excursion to the exquisite Shigar Valley where there are many
mineral springs that are revered by the locals as curing waters for skin
diseases. You will also visit local mountain villages. At night, return to
Peshawar and board airplane to go back to your country.
